FOKUS Competition

The competition “FOKUS” is an artistic activity aiming at identifying and evaluating the health and vitality of the artistic photography and to detect underlying trends. Above all it is a possibility for a free and transparent expression in the world of artistic photography.

The goal of this activity is the confrontation of different schools and experiences from the region, wanting to give an incentive to a professional dialogue on artistic photography converting it into an annual meeting point of the confrontation of these values on a world which belongs to all.

The right of participation have all those who love artistic photography, wherever they are.

The theme of competition is free, but the pictures which are pretending to win must be selected in the field of Artistic Photography. The participation can be done with one photo 30x45cm, not less than 150dpi, with a title and with name, family name, address and telephone number of the author. The participating pictures must not have been exposed in other activities.

The deadline is July 10-September, 2011.

• The Prices for Focus 2011
The pictures will be selected and estimated from the international professional jury and after their estimation there will be 3 prices. All the participants at the Focus Competition 2011 who will be selected and accepted from the jury, they will participate at the Exposition Focus 2011 which will take place on November 5-6, 2011 in the city of Fier, Albania, at the Gallery of Arts, Fier.
The enlargement of the competitive pictures will be made from the organizers of Focus 2011.

There will be also awards for the first 3 places:

First Price: 1000 $

Second Price: 30.000 ALL

Third Price: 20.000 ALL

The Focus Competition will take place in the city of Fier on November 5-6, 2011.
